Its a challenge
Fast pace, need to stick to procedures. Always something new. Learn everyday. To many staff come and go, staff turn over very high. Need to re look at management structure and individuals thereof. Focus should be on heads, not on blue coat workers. Always a coverup and if it fails someone has to take the fall for it, not fair or pleasant. So much unfairness. Over worked staff and so much unpleasantness. Why give and make people believe there is an opportunity when the chances are very vague. Try to listen to your staff for a change. Most beautiful and amazing people you can find here. Many hands wiling to help and reach out. Everyday a challenge.

Gaining more experience in finance
Doing bank recons for all the branches soon as get to work. Sending out all the branches info for which was paid the previous day on the bank before to all the correct managers. Reconciling the cashbooks for various branches bank accounts on pastel from information obtained from the debtors department. Loading all the invoices, sales reports to Pastel. Handling the petty cash. Then once that is done, get back to queries and sorting out supplier reconciliations be it , weekly suppliers or monthly. I get along quiet will with my collegues as I do by any job that I am employed at.
Pros: Learning and gaining experience
Cons: Long work hours - from 7:30 to 5:30
