I acquired lots of skills technical and behavioral
I used to work at a fast paced, deadline oriented company as an Intern. My duties were most Recruitment taking care of the administration side, conducting interviews making presentations, and also maintaining filing system.I reported to 2Managers. Personally I gained my confidence and I've also learned to work well with people. What I enjoyed most about my job was the interaction I've had with the Learners while I was assisting in administering Psychometric assessment to them.
Pros: I acquired a presentation skills certificate
Cons: Sometimes we used to knock off very late due to the load of work we've had

I like working at coega because we deliver service to the public.
working for coega is very good. my relationship with my co worker is excellent as I am the type of person who like to cheer other, I have leant a lot as CDC is a deferent working environment than the one I use to work for . the most thing that I enjoy about my work is when the service required is being utilized by the end user . i.e when the child is going to a school that is in good condition which was procured by Coega development corporation . that means when you see the end result. even when you build a hospital in phases and you see more phases being unfold , when you go and visit the site at the end of the project, you realize that things have changed for the better . that is the most precious moment knowing for a fact that you have done it. the most challenging thing about my work is when you know that the project is about to be implemented and the client withdraws because of the non availability of funds

Working at Finance Department CDC
I believe that as highly competent junior finance officer-accounts payable Intern (Temp) with 3 years banking experience I would bring an energetic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic attitude to this role. I am also deeply familiar with Excel and several accounting software programs, currently using Oracle system. My current Duties as Junior Finance officer-accounts payable (Temp) are as follows: • Processing of employee claim, handling queries. • Handling of external supplier’s payment inquiries, communicating with the aim of finding payments solutions. • Perform full weekly and monthly accounts payable (AP) reconciliations. • Perform standard journals as required. • Audit preparation for internal and external audits • Submitting reports as requested by the Financial Manager • Processing of petty cash, debit and Credit memo capturing

I am a fast leaner, Team player and i can work as an individual
In the three years that I have been deployed at the CDC as an Intern as well as Temp, I have been exposed to the various systems which utilized are within the organisation. I possess extensive work experience in the office environment and the retail sector, giving me adequate skills and the ability to work with different types of people. I then took it upon myself to assist the NDPW Programme with administration since it was a new unit which I wanted exposure as well as to gain experience. I have a good understanding of client and customer services as such I possess the skill set for the requirements of the advertised position. I have been exposed to the dynamics of serving different types of customers in my previous position. I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail; flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others.

Excellent learning opportunity
With different department which one has to work with, it give a person more room to grow. Not just in their own field, but in a business and marketing fields. I'm under the Business Development unit, sub-directory Marketing. There for i'm exposed to sitting in meetings with the board and investors. Taking down the needs an demands of the client. So on a typical work day, i have internal meetings with developers. Just to brief them of my needs on new projects i'm working on. So this is were two different creative minds meet and look for solutions on a problem. This is the stage where i ask question about their expertise so that next time i don't have needs which can not be met. I love new investors who have no CI in place so developing it reminds of how one falls in love with art.
Pros: Hobby that's a career
Cons: Long working hours, how ever you love what you do
