Great working experience

My job start from 7:30 to 16:00, I am responsible for the Quality Department, our task as department, we must ensure the processes, policies and procedures are in place to ensure our company produce products that meet or exceeds customer requirements and expectations. We use ISO 9001:2015 as guiding standard to achieve those objectives. I have following staff members reporting to me: SHE Officer, Quality Officer, Data Capturer, 4 Quality Inspectors. Its a very challenging position because our company is given delivery targets by the customer which are very tight and our role as the department is to ensure our products have very little or no defects when handed over to the customer.

Pros: Job satisfaction due to the job scope
Cons: No bonuses, no medical aids

Great company to learn new things

I enjoy working for CTE, including my relationship with my Manager and my co-workers is good. I have learned to be humble also to work under pressure, submission of WSP. I enjoy doing payroll taking minutes for the meetings, most challenging aspects of the job is when I have to directly be involved with employees because sometime when you try to explain certain things to them some of them don't want to understand.

Pros: Opportunity for promotion
Cons: no incentives

Learning curve and much expected growth.

It has been a blessing being with a lot of people from different places coming from almost all parts of south Africa. Our day is never the same each day has its own challenges but I have out grown most challenges that I have faced. I have learned a lot about owning a business and how different departments work together to form this collective major success at the end of each and every completed job. I work in a loving atmosphere with kind and friendly people, well like any place we do get some that make it a hustle to get through the day but all at the end works out well.

Pros: Not for promotion as such but for learning even more.
Cons: challenges arising from external factor really challenges most of us.
