Day to day work life

I absolutely love what i do, there really have been very few days in the last 10yrs where i do not want to go to work. I have the most amazing co workers and have learnt alot from them. A typical day would be coming to the office and having early morning coffee catch up with co workers and then tackling what the day brings our way, from board reports at board time, to drafting reports for the regulator, to assisting with adhoc projects and managing monthly tasks.

Pros: Lovely culture and work environment
Cons: Bought over by a international company

Broader knowledge within the industry gained

It is a growing company offering opprtunities and growth potential. The enviroment is slightly less professional and structured as opposed to the banking and services industry. The company offers structures that are ideally meant to assist in my day-to-day work though there is still a lot to be done in terms of getting this structure fully efficient. The company has provided an opportunity for me to gain extensive knowlegde in back-end technical knowledge and approach for all operationa systems.

Pros: Growing company, growth opprtunities exist
Cons: Salary is minimal
