I have within these periods gained valuable knowledge and intense interest in human resources. My objective is to gain experience, exposure and insight in a working environment. To be in a no limits environment that will allow me to interact with individuals from different backgrounds and allow me to grow both professionally and personally. My experience as a HR Administrator has helped me develop strong interpersonal and communication skills and helped me realize that I can make a valuable contribution to people’s lives and in the same way be able to offer my skills and professional support to any organization. I interact well with people and I am fully conversant in English, Xhosa and Zulu.

Excellent learning curve

It has been positive experience to work for ContinuitySA as their Backup and Recovery solutions is one of the best recognized solution service in MEA. I love working in the Company and i have achieved great friends within the department and other department in the company. I'm thankful to everything that they have taught me to become a good IT professional.

My Professional Job

I am an HR Administrator, directly reporting to a CFO. I am currently the only 1 that manages HR at the moment as our HR Manager left in August. Everyday I am learning and I am coping with the work that I am doing. Dealing with different queries every day and doing different task everyday as in HR is not the same everyday. The relationship I have with Co-workers is good. Everyone in the company respect one another, we have a TripleF slogan that means, Family Fun and Feel-good. The most challenging moments in my job is when you are dealing with a letters, as you need to be attention to details for an example Contract and Offer Letters.

Pros: The only HR at the moment
Cons: During the time when employees need to receive Bonus and Increase Letters. I draft the letters and CFO needs to sign and to be discributed to the HOD's

Excellent learning curve

I used to work for continuitysa for the duration of 10 months. The work environment was great also the team mate were always willing to help. In that manner were developed a very team. I used to work 12 hours per shift, both day shift and night shift. Two days/nights then 2 days off. I work closely with all departments in the company and clients as they require services from me and my team on a daily basis as service desk agents.

Pros: Great opportunity for learning
Cons: Long working hours
