Excellent learning curve

Learning new research fields everyday and working as a team.good relationship with coworkers learning from each other understanding the dynamics of research including applying legislation and improvement on the research fields including air quality monitoring and dust monitoring,environmental monitoring and water quality monitoring.

Pros: Great opportunity for career growth and learning new fields especially applying legislation
Cons: Working hard and creative with no promotion looking beyond pension not for short term because when i aged i will need money to look after myself so far my pension is too little

Manage SHEQ from strategy to day to day functions Relate well to staff and senior management Enjoy imparting my knowledge to others Major challenge is lack of support from highest office

Council for Geoscience

To work fir CGS is not a choice but privilege. Your daily output is a reflection of your ability to solve any problems. You learn to deal with anybody and to learn from that. The best is to resolve any queries. You are always welcome to ask anybody when you are not sure of anything. Learned a lot about projects local and foreign. To learn about geological terms is an advantage. You are always learning something new everyday.

Pros: You never stop learning
Cons: This depends on you as person

Excellent learning curve

read articles. prepare work for interns. review reports of the inters. i get along with everyone at work.i enjoy field work. , I am able to manage conflicting demands in a fast dynamic environment, I have a high sense of commitment to my work, I have team management skills, and valued integrity

Pros: great opportunity for getting my MSC
Cons: under payment
