Very friendly environment with good company values that made or created a pleasant working culture. We had a good support structure from marketing, supply chain,buyers and planners, ops, visual merchandising and finance they we always willing to build and support commercial team at all times. One of the key learning for me was to invest in your employees to be able to run a successful and sustainable business. I enjoyed training and mentoring my team and the most challenging aspect was managing people with different dynamic and background but I enjoyed every learning from it. The company was big on training and developing staff I had opportunities to be developed into a dynamic leader and to upskill my leadership skills. Involving management on decision making which made one feel as part of the company. One of the most outstanding achievements when I was a regional was achieving the most outstanding region with best shrinkage award for my region.

Excellent place to start your career.
Its a awesome environment to work in there are a few perks like uniform and a pension fund scheme, just for the salary package is a bit minimal and feel it could be better for all the responsibility that we have. Gained all my experience here and was forced to work under pressure and I'm very good at that.

Excellent learning curve
Typical day starts at 8 other days at 12. Staff are respectful and friendly. Management waa unreasonable moat timws. People were promised permanent positions just so they could work longer hours. Management thought they better they have no respect

Making sure customers are fully satisfied when leaving the shop,grate working environment working as a team making sure everything is running smoothly and all customers are attended to

Great Opportunity to Grow in Retail
Working at Country Road has given me a great learning experience. I am passionate about pleasing all my customers thus making my day a cheerful one. I work very well with my peers and love working as part of a team. I can bend over backwards to ensure all targets have been met to ensure overall success of the company.

Excellent learning curve, great opportunities.
it is an environment that promoted growth, accountability, transparency, as well as hard work. With being part of the team I have acquired many skills among them were being multilingual, computer literacy, manner of approach, courtesy and body language, selling (cross selling) those are some skills and qualities I have learnt from working in the environment. The most challenging aspect of the job is always stock loss through known or unknown means and that part is difficult, and that can only be solved through communication and being innovative.

I learn't a lot in this company and i have grown as an individual.
I have grown as a person in the past years work wise because i work very hard and that made me grow in the company and being trustworthy.I can work in any environment and i am a team player.What i enjoyed the most was working with different people from different bachground and also understanding them individually,also being recognise for the job that i do and be able to train other people.Most challenging aspects is when you have give feedback to the planner and what customers think because it is very important to listen to our customers.

Having a great attitude brings good relults
On my day at work, maintain house keeping, replenishment (request if necessarily), process sales, after sales admin and banking. I have a good personality which makes it easy to communicate well with my co-workers. I have learned that all customers should be treated the same regardless of the expenditure (R1.00) or (R1000.00) it still profit it's what we opened the store for. Understanding the business requirements and to meet them if feels awesome. Sometimes to deal with the returned items can ruin a persons day because there's a procedure to follow which other customers do not follow and to explain all that can be challenging sometime.

Better opportunities
Challenging Exciting Lots of team work Integrity Growth Challenging when sales are bad We go for team building once a year We get incentives We get free uniform R22000 a year We are very fashion focused
