Excellent Challenge

The credit department at Crest Chemicals is very challenging and demanding Below are some of the Task and Experiances: - Urgent limit increases due to orders on the system - Bank recon which is done daily - Overdue report which the credit controller report on daily - Sales orders that would need to be refered to me due to limits of authority that the credit controllers have. Sales will push anything at you to get and order released. Using knowledge, experiance and skills a calculated decision will be made that will best suit the business - Deadlines are monitored and recorded. We are very strict on deadlines and also the accuracy to the assisgned task. Deadlines are linked directly to KPI's so it must be taken seriously - All pending master files must be followed up on daily as we have a 10 day SLA with sales and this must be adhered to. If the SLA a is not met, i would investigate root causes to eliminate issues. The investigation is usually done at month end

Pros: Alot of knowledge was gained by working in this industry
Cons: I cannot go further in my career unless i am prepared to wait another 10 years

Excellent learning curve

Great company to work for. Excellent learning curve. Great people to work with and excellent leaders. Accommodating diverse cultures. No motivation for the employees.
