My typical day at work is challenging and fulfilling

A day starts by me checking the customercare inbox and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter and the internet) for complains then update the complains register through follow up on outstanding cases. It's fast paced enviroment which requires interaction with customers and relevant stakeholders(International and local Government) filled with meetings to remove impediments and facilitate cross border movement. I also conducting customer satisfaction surveys. Through interaction with various people at all levels I have learned a lot in terms of soft people skills, emotional intelligence, time management and organisational skills. My biggest challenge is working with the international communities as it is often difficult to influence change in how other countries operate. It is overall a mentally stimulating enviroment which is what I enjoy the most.
