Excellent learning curve

I work as an optical assistant my duties is to assist the doctor with the patients, lab order, assisting with patients choosing frames, checking medical funds for the patients and also to market for the optom. My relationship with my co-workers is very good we get along and pushing what needs to be done, i have learnt different things such as to read the script for the patient and be able to identify different types of lense that are being offerred as well as the brands of the frames. I enjoy helping the patients even though its such a difficult at times but it grows me the strenght i have and be able to accept anything kind of situation. The most challenging thing is when the patient doesnt understand the languagr of the optometrist trying yo convert is the most challenging thing.

Pros: Great opportunity to grow in the world of the Optometry.
Cons: Long hours

Excellent learning and expirience

I have a good strong relationship with my workingmates . I have learnt alit within the practise since i was not familiar with the optometry, i noe can read a prescription for lenses and be able to differintiate the type of lenses, and everything within concerning the practise. I enjoy to work with the optom so that i increase my knowledge, the most difficult thing is to talk with the patients since they also difficult to apptoach.
