From humble beginnings to a leading world class supplier in 10 years.

A challenging position within an organisation supplying extra large fabricated and machined components and equipment into the global mining markets. The success of the business was very dependent on a motivated, well structured and focused team of employees headed by a management team that was focused, interactive and strategy driven. I am proud to say I was not only the head of such a team but was also seen and accepted as part of the team. People were the business and a significant amount of time was spent on working with our people to equip, train and prepare them for the challenges we faced in a very competitive global market. I am proud to have been associated with the organisation and its people and can look back with pride at what we achieved over the years.

Pros: Fantastic opportunity to grow as a manager and a person
Cons: Risky business that required 24/7 management time.

Well run company, professional people with one common goal.

DCD is a railroad manufacturing company. We specialize in the production of brake blocks for governments institutions like Mettorail, prasa, and Transnet.DDC

Pros: Good Quality of work life, one team approach to problem solving and meeting of SHEQ objectives for the company.
Cons: There is no favoritism, everybody works hard to contribute to the success of the company
