Excellent learning curve

every day comes with it challenges however it's always great to tackle challenges in a team work. The relationship with my co-workers is great because we are a team who believes in learning on a daily basis and helping each other to have a good productive day. Having worked at two different companies with different working systems it has been a good learning curve to learn different planning tools and procurement procedures. The fact that I achieve my targets on a daily makes me enjoy my work at Delmas What is challenging is working with older people who were not as privileged as us in terms of getting education however it is great to help and educate tem on a daily basis ,its fun

Projects and maintainence oriented

Currently acting as a maintenance supervisor, very involved in maintenance planning of 4 sections ,responsibilities are maintaining 9 shuttle cars both electrical and mechanical, feeder breakers ,section conveyors and roofbolters to ensure high availability of the machines, recently I was co-ordinating projects such as installation of the proximity detection system on trackless mining machinery, optimization of processing plant

Pros: Learnt a lot in a short space of time

I love working with my hands and learning new things ever yday.I love challenges my job comes with because it gives me experience i need. I enjoy working with myou team mate and executing every job to detail.

Delmas coal is quite a good company and it has been into mining busines for over 50 years now,m

Working for Delmas coal for me it has been a great experience i have been exposed through a lot as a young graduate, been given a chance to see and experience how mining of coal is achieved. And the environment is so friendly abd co-workers are people who really wanna see you do goo in life, it been a life changing experience for me. But unfortunately i need new exposure as a graduate metallurgist.

Pros: It has been a great experience for me I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity butmy current field i want to persue requires me to look on a different perspective interms of new career
Cons: Working hours were reasonable 8-9 hours a day 5 days a week

Good learning curve

Working at Delmas coal helped me in terms experience and personal development. Working in different departments as an Engineer-in-Training gives the edge to broaden my knowledge in many aspects.

I am hard working willing to work underpressure

I am hard working willing to work under lressure am working independent an willing to work as a team.A'm underground boilermaker maintenance my duties is to fabricate guards, v-belt frame , liner plate ,brakes,maintenance chutes and rece the worn part of the continuous mine machineand follow the mine heath an safety act fimilair with rist assessment.
