Trobleshooting, configuration and mainatenance of IT systems
I assist the staff in installing and maintaining computer systems and I have a complete understanding of the corporate infrastructure. My training includes everything from setting up corporate network connectivity to creating network and emails for clients. I am also familiar with implementing, updating and maintaining telephone and voicemail systems. I have the education and skills to perform help desk administration duties such as answering calls and other correspondence concerning network issues client are experiencing. I have the ability to troubleshoot problems and to provide a suitable solution in a timely fashion. I have strong analytical skills, I pay close attention to details and I have acquired the skills to manage my time wisely. I maintain a positive attitude at all times and I have the ability to work as part of a team or individually. I am self-motivated, organized and ready to put my skills to good use for your company

Excellent learning curve and quite learning skills
I am a dynamic and young individual who is always willing to take initiation to my work; I intend to be an asset in a company I am working for, I am a very committed, professional and reliable person who is eager to learn new challenges that I come across. I also work hard to learn something that I do not know. I have a positive self-esteem, feeling good about my abilities and myself. I have confidence in my beliefs and what I can do on my own. I can work alone without any supervision and I am a very good team player, as I am able to work with people and I have good communication skills. I am also able to work under stressful conditions to meet my deadlines.

Excellent learning curve
My KPAs include compiling Bid documents, rendering secretarial duties on various Bid committees, advertising bids on itender, tender bulletin and also on internal notice boards. I also assist the public and service providers on registering with the public sector on Logis and CSD. My job also involves interacting with Project leaders and co-workers to facilitate smooth running of Departmental projects. I assist on closing of bids as well as on evaluating recieved bids. I am proud about my problem solving abilities and my interpersonal skills. I enjoy helping service providers as it teaches me patience and diverse attitudes and personalities of the people i meet on daily basis. I learn to prioritise and multi task at the sametime. My favourite part is creating and maintaining strong and healthy working relationships.

Excellent
working at this department is quit nice as it gives me all the relevant training I need towards my career. however the issue of budget sometimes makes things difficult some of the trainings I can not attend due to financial constraint in the department. working here as team gives me more variety of experience and be aware on how others do things. the most challenging aspects is the one of some of the functions are centralised to head office and we can not make things so quick because we have to wait long for the head office to give us go ahead.
Pros: be treated same as permanent employees
Cons: no compensation for working over time if you are a contract worker i.e interns

My experience and new and better hopes for my future.
Since i started working for department i have always been hard working and always dedicated, i started as a road worker and then i was asked to assist a Senior Foreman as his PA. Given the opportunity because i am a fast and effective person and with my computer skills from school i managed very well until i got an admin vacancy that was open. Studying further is for me to complete my certificate and pursue my career goals in future. I have learned a lot and given the chance to start learning more i would love too because i am always open for new challenges. I am a very hard working and dedicated person who can work independently and i have good team building skills. I am passionate and i have good communication skills both verbal and written.

Sense of agency
Support underlying ICT infrastructure Identify ICT requirements in order to meet the needs of users I have a positive relationship with colleagues at all levels and I can fit in beautifully in a team I have learned the way to communicate with employees at all levels, how to prioritize my schedule according to my daily duties and incident calls and also how to manage my time. I enjoy working with computers

Excelling in various support services
Recruitment, selection and appointment of employees. Identifying training needs and selecting individuals to training. Participating in developing the work skills plan. Member of Skills development committee- make decision on allocation of bursaries, participate in the recruitment and appointment of candidates for learnerships and interships. Member of Employment Equity- ensure the targets are met, the district plan is in place. Administering retirement of employees.

Great team to work with utilizing the latest IT "gadgets" in the market.
I am working as a support technician where i support users onsite and remotely. We operate on an open door policy, users can drop by with any IT related issues and we assist with whatever issues they may encounter. I support the department's network infrastructure, printers, PCs, AV/VC, Laptops/desktops, mobile devices, routers, etc. I also install software patches and ensure security features are in place, ie, firewall and antivirus.

Picture of what is like to worl on my company
I had work for Public Works for 16years. Working in a team was tje most enjoyable moment hence i met diverse culture with different backgrounds. Good relations with co-workers has made me humble and able to share experience and knowledge amongst each other. The most challenging aspectsbof my job was to work with different people whom you have to meet them half way with their idea.
Pros: Working at public works was of great achievement as i have gained more knowledge and experience. Also i have worked with diverse culture which will make me suitable to work in another company.
Cons: Working lomg hours is what i like and i am used to work long hours
