Admin Assistant

I am a hard worker who works well with people. I work well under pressure and under no supervision. I have been with the Department of Water and Sanitation for the past 8 years as Administration assistant. I also coordinate the One stop shop that deals with all Westen Cape water related queries. I assist with school projects called the 2020 vision.

Pros: You deal with different kinds of people as i deal with customers. Some are polite and some are just speaking their mind and you just have to bear with them and understand them as they say, customer comes first.
Cons: You must be responsible at all times and be proffesional.

My job is to advertise, recruit, selection and placement

A typical working day is like a normal working day because there isn't much challenges, I have a very good relationship with co-workers and almost everyone that I come single day as I work for big Department and over the years that I worked hear I have learn that the job that I am doing is very important and I am take my job very seriously. I enjoy bringing new talent to the organisation and the most challenging aspects of my job is to get the right people to the work for the organisation e.g. engineer's are very scares.

Pros: there is a great opportunty for promotion
Cons: working normal hours
