No growth potential

The car rental industry is extremely busy. It does not stop my typical day includes screening of calls, handling customer queries as far as them having broken down on the roads. sorting out email queries. Capture the shifts files and sending to the respective banks to clear clients holding deposits back into their respective accounts, then filing it to archive it once a week. Ordering of stationery and water from the head office. Groceries and paper orders as well.

Pros: Shift work allows off days
Cons: working right trough the year on all public holidays

Just learning expirience

GOOD INDUSTRY TO WORK ON BUT HAVING A VERY BAD MANAGER,CO-WORKERS WE GET ALON VERY WELL WITH, BUT ATLEST I HAVE LEANR SO MUST IN THISE COMPANY HOW TO DEAL WITH ANGRY DIFFICULT CLIENT HOW TO CALM THEM DOWN, MOST CHALLENGING ASPECTS OF THIS JOB IS THAT SOMETIMES CLIENTS BOOK A VEHICLE THAT I DO NOT HAVE ON MY FLEET

Good stepping stone

I have learnt alot from the company and how to deal with stress in an unorganised environment. There is never a day where things just run smoothly. We always thinking on our feet and solve the problem no matter how big or small. We work with an awesome team that always pulls together when things get rough. I think due to being exposed to these conditions it has made me a strong leader and i take on any challenge put in my path.

Learned so much

At the current company i have changed my position a few times and have learned so much in the almost 2 years with the company i have enjoyed all positions that i was in and believe that i had a good relationship with all my co - workers. I try in the best of my ability to assist my co workers where i can if i can. Unfortunately in the position where i'm in now there is no more growth and looking for a company where i can grow.

My Dollar Thrifty Life story

Each workday for me is basicly the same. I get to work then sort out admin such as daily banking recons, fuel recons and fleet checks. We rent out cars on a daily basis and we deal with client daily, face to face and telephonicaly.What I enjoy most of this job is, when client acknowledge the good work you do. It just make one feel great. On the other hand, the very difficult clients I have to deal with too. You can actualy see them coming a mile away but I won't let that affect my job.

Cons: No advancement prospects
