Great Culture

Great culture, everyone knows each other and works with each other. Great place to learn but difficult to get in if you have not proven yourself through experience. Because the company is so big it can be difficult to manage some jobs which have people in different countries working on those jobs. Time management is very important.

Cons: Huge flow of work comes in at the same time

Over the years it has been learning every day

As a consulting company, I interact with different characters daily. Learning processes of different minerals everytime I start a new project. Working in an environment of all mature people, the knowledge is abundant on anything you do on different projects.

Cons: Contracting makes you unstable

Flexible hours

Dayly tasks were done in a positive way with co-workers always willing to assist an do their bit. National politics are making working in that industry volatile

I have been with DRA since 2006 and have functions across most aspects of project controls.

Typical 9hr workday but can be 12 to 14hrs depending on requirements. Good relationship with team mates and management. I have learnt a tremendous amount within EPC and EPCM project management throughout all aspects of the project life cycle. I enjoy the team work and seeing a concept turned into reality. Most challenging is communication between various expertiese and levels of engineering. Creating a mutual understanding of the goals and plan to achieve them.

Cons: No further opportunities for growth
