Great learning experience

Great opportunity for the development of soft skills such as people skills as well as sales knowledge and experience. Product knowledge and consulting experience. Consulting clients on the correct and relevant equipment for mountaineering, hiking and trail running. Including expeditions. Co-workers are, for the most part, professionals who take their work seriously. The most challenging aspects include working with clients who have done little to no research on their planned trip and often are unaware of the costs and the dangers involved. Advising clients on gear for life-threatening weather conditions and terrain is tough in these situations.

Pros: Development of people skills and consulting skills
Cons: Long hours and few weekends
