Been working for Dsv for 7 years now as an operations Supervisor. Got an oppurtunity to be part of the talent pool programme which I gained a lot of knowledge on how to manage staff, I also did IR training and got to observe hearings. I would be a pleasure to explore and join other organizations

Excellent learning curve

A typical day at work would include calling drivers in the morning to get information on how many parcels they went out with is there any help they need regarding, then call client to make delivery arriof the cards, the work environment was not harsh we could move around a have little conversation with colleagues, the hardest part was when I have to conduct investigation on why the card was not delivered successfully ng addresses

QUICK LEARNER

I believe that I am a hard worker. I am patient and able to control my emotions. I have great customer services. I am always on time to work. I am able to work under pressure and I always prepare myself to present the best work. I always love a challenge, because I tend to learn new things and also correct my mistakes along the way. I'm a confident, trustworthy and reliable individual.

Typical Work day

Typical day - once KAM has acquired business from new client my responsibility is to ensure that SDLC is followed through to ensure the client is onboarded successfully onto our systems for collection & delivery of various products - collection of FICA documents, delivery of cellphones, tablets etc. Enhancements to services for existing clients - mostly Banks - new methods of receiving data for delivery of debit & credit cards to end customers. Ensuring that all documentation & specs are completed & distributed within prescribed timelines in order to have them approved & moved into next development cycle. Ensure that thorough is testing is completed with intense end-to-end client testing & then the successful deployment into our Production environment.

Pros: New learning experiences on a daily basis, Job satisfaction once new client has been loaded onto our systems successfully
Cons: Environmental issues with clients, causing delays to Production

Fast learner

I assess call a for the call Call centre and send out daily reports of call centre staff performances. I have good relationship with co workers as the invironment requires you to be team player. I have learnt that you have to be patient with peopl. I enjoy seeing people improve and them becoming the best in their line of work. The most challenging aspect of my work is trying to help someone improve who does not want to be coached on errors they have made.

Pros: You can alsp do team leader duties with this type of experience

A veteran

Scanning in and out the drivers to various locations within Gauteng Filling up the weekly and monthly stats for the drivers and messages Taking and making calls to clients Training new staff Am a person who has a strong bond with my co-workers. I have learned a lot within this filed, how to communicate with clients. Keeping my clients Happy When The parcel/s are not delivered in time, as promised

Have learnt a lot in my years with the company.

I have learnt dedication, interacting with different people, with different cultures. Working very hard & yet they always remind us to have fun while doing our work. Enjoy working directly with our clients.
