The company is at the point of retrenching staff and have not been very transparent. The salary and hours as well as environment is great. There is no room for growth and increases are not given annually but every 2 to 3 years. Staff are always kept in the dark regarding the companies financial position and its position in the market. Decisions are solely made by director and owner. No input is ever asked or taken into consideration. Work is close to home and my kids school which is very nice.

Acquired many useful skills regarding different programs
The company has never been transparent. They are retrenching staff on a notice of 2 weeks but the company has been in financial trouble for 18month and the staff was informed this when the retrenchment was made known. Staff input has never been asked for or used to better the systems we work in and requests for promotions are generally ignored and given to outsiders. Increases happen every 2 to 3 years. There is no set time frame. No pension fund or medical aid.

Excellent leaning curve
Great people to work with. Relaxed working atmosphere. Free coffee. Flexible hours with regards to family commitments. Bi-weekly working day from home.
Pros: great company to enter software testing
Cons: no sense of urgency with anything
