Manufacturing engineering company that give the opportunity to interact with employees on the daily basis during Tier I & Tier II meeting on the SHEQ matters. Have established good working relationship with other core workers i.e managed to initiate community projects that involve, Environmental awareness, Safety awareness So have learned MESH Champion system, how to conduct internal assessment review Enjoy spending time conducting Section HIRA, Attend production meeting, MESH Review, SHEQ Internal audits, helping other peers on the assignment they cannot complete, Conducting contractor audit. Manufacturing focus on production,availability of team players to participate on the SHEQ Matters sometimes its a challenge, open time for the employees need to be wisely

Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: Must always spent time at production area to identify SHEQ Hazards and monitoring

Excellent learning curve

It is a great company so far and the environment is great ,the colleuges are good people and we share our knowledge and our troubleshooting aspects its is a learning journey each and every day and new ideas

Attending Tier I and Tier II meeting Attending Production meeting on the daily basis' Have good relationship engage with them during H&S Committee meetings and other SHEQ Meetings' MESH Champion and MESH Assessment, GEMBA Enjoy SHEQ Internal audits, GEMBA, Report SHEQ Performance, attend SHEQ Meetings, Helping other SHEQ Peers, Contractor audit, Availability of time to have all employee at once to attend SHEQ training

Excellent learning experience

Eaton is international company , I deal with EMEA. Currently running payroll project , this includes aligning all 3 business units onto a One campus approach - the electrical project also include outsourcing to a third party. Daily communication with Union , HR and Management levels. Direct communication to employees on floor shop and administration. My position at Eaton has given me growth in decision making and managing employees.

Pros: Great growth
Cons: Long working hours

Excellent way to learm about finance globally

i have a good workung relationship with my workers who are alway willing to help me out should i experience any difficulties . I have learnt that what you study from varsity is not really what you get to see in an everyday business life theres more to what the textbooks teach us . I enjoy posting and filing invoices and making sure suppliers are paid on time so that its a lot easier and less stressful to close off for month end

Pros: Reasonable salary
Cons: it takes a bit longer to get a permanent or secured post

Doing business right.

This means putting ethics first and always having the safety of employees at heart. I have learned how to communicate effectively across different departments as you deal with the sales department, supply chain, estimation, finance and the factory(manufacturing). This was the most challenging aspect aspect at first because generally each department follows its own protocols of communication, so it was difficult aligning and having a central mode of communication

Cons: Less opportunity for career growth

Internal sales

Fast paced technical environment, with supportive Management and supportive co-workers. All the departments are in building, so the work process is fairly easy from day to day.
