I am based in the Transport and warehousing section and do admin there.

I am based in the Transport and warehousing section and do admin there. I liaise with warehouse staff and drivers as well as the warehouse manager and transport supervisor. I do all the paperwork for the following days deliveries everyday, send and receive emails, order stock and deal with warehouse and driving staff queries and requests on a daily basis. I also work hand in hand with the ladies in customer service regards to when and where they need stock to be delivered to. I also place orders for stationary, safety gear and groceries. So all in all I deal with all levels and departments all through the day on a daily basis which I enjoy very much.

Pros: I work mostly on my own in my office very rarely get supervised.
Cons: no real opportunity for promotion we are a small branch of the main heneways office.

Fast learner

I am a goal-oriented person. I am loyal, honest, hardworking and patient. I communicate and socialize very well. I have recently (2004) completed my matric and my vision is to complete my studies which I will do part time. I believe that the only real limitation on your abilities is the level of our desires. “If you want it badly enough, there are no limits on what you can achieve”.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours

Good worker

I am driven to embark upon new challenges in an attempt to reach greater heights. My vast array of interests and open minded perspective enables me to collaborate effectively with members of a team. I will go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that any task assigned to me is successfully completed. I am eager and a quick learner.

Solid career foundation

Heneways brings together people from different backgrounds together. We get to learn and appreciate our diverse world. I enjoy the get togethers that were normally on Fridays where employees from the warehouse and the office would get to interact over drinks. Being a medium company employees get to report directly to the Directors, which I believe helps employees with their confidence.

Pros: Solid career foundation
Cons: No opportunity for growth

Excellent learning curve

Good company to work for. Leearnt alot at this company. Management in Durban office are good people. Working colleagues are among the best. Moral establishment and bee. In the industry for 40 plus years so there is stability.

Exposure to new systems and excellent training programs

it was a really new experience for me as I learned a new aspect in storing chemical products. overall the company structure is good with a good support from the management team.
