Quickly learning new ways of coding and adapting to new styles

I am responsible for the development of the Staff Requisitions module for the HR system currently in place in the Edcon group of companies. This module is new, so I am breaking ground with whatever I do. I am also responsible for another new module - MyBenefits. It is an advertising system that needs to be built into our main product - MyFocus. This also is new, so I am also breaking new ground with this. This was a challenge as the main program is written in VB.Net and we've decided to do the MyBenefits as a C# project that should seamlesly bolt onto our existing systems.

Pros: Knack for problem solving
Cons: I am willing to work lots of hours and sometimes that gets abused.
