Learnt a kot

It was a high pressured environment, learnt quit a lot. Eugene geldenhuys a great manager, willing to teach, was understanding and made the work environment fun to work in. I learned a lot from him.

Giving back to society

I an an IT Graduate and have not found relevant employment. Working as a Picker is a way of giving back to the society as it is not a kind of a job I would choose since it is not an easy job but eventually it has to be done. It is not easy and not healthy because one works walking around a warehouse in rather high speed, pushing the trolley, picking study material such as textbooks etc, printing inventories, packaging and conveying for the entire working hours except 1hour 45 minutes break in a day. Therefore, working in that position took me a lot of courage and I did not think only about my needs and wants but also for those of the society as a whole, hence my working in this position is a my way of giving back to the society.

Pros: Learning Curve
Cons: On feet for long hours
