I worked on placer deposit, greenstone belt and bushveld complex

I do my work as per monthly schedule, attending pre-planning, G-sheets, safety meetings and HOD meetings. I start my work in the morning by checking the drilled core in the core yard and signing daily diamond report. I also proceed underground as per schedule and request from mining personnel. I got a good relationship with my customers (mining personnel) and contractor for diamond drill. I enjoy making the difference in terms of safety, input into the planning cession and making sure that my customers are happy with my service. the current challenge we are facing on the mine is the failure to achieve the business plan due to low efficiencies which is associated with attitude of the workforce.

Pros: exposure to new software for mapping and strat-3D for moddiling
Cons: to get bussines back to profit by achieving bussiness plan through high effeicience

Challenging

Work day starts at 5h00 and ends at 17h00. Big sectiin so starring to know everyone and all the panels. Not really time to to socialise with co workers but teying to as i go aling to know them. Been in the mining industry for 30 years but there is always something new, every mine does things diffrent.

Pros: Getting to know peoples different personalities
Cons: Long working hours with tough sitsuations

Challenging but exciting

The company needs hardworking individuals as all the responsibility are on your shoulders from entrance to the time of exit but on the other hand it makes you mould with your co- workers as you are close them

Safety orientated

Ensure target is being met on daily basis.safely and cost effiently cutting cost and empowering surbordinate to do good decition.No rock will fall uncontrolled and that all accidents are preventable.I enjoy solving problem and see oppoturnity in each problms.

Well experience with knowledge in Safety in the Mining Environment

Having 18 years in Mining, having 8 years as a Miner and also having knowledge in Mining Safety through NOSA, COMSOC 1 & 2, I know that I am a best candidate for the posts.
