Excellent learning curve

In respond in your request introducing myself, my name is Hlengiwe Purity Hlekwana . After finished matriculation in 2002, I then re-write it again in 2014 to better my results. I unfortunately could further my studies due to coming from disadvantage family. In 2008 I managed to find a job as General Worker at Bidvest Managed Solutions Pty Ltd, for seven years. In 2015 I managed to find another job at Imperial Retail Logistics Pty Ltd, as a Scanning Clerk, till to date. It was great achievement from being General Worker to an office worker. My current plan is to find stable work that will enable myself to further my studies, so that I can upgrade my career. I want to see myself occupying managerial position in five years to come. Apart from that I am honest person, reliable person, and flexible person, able to mingle herself with others. I am a team player, and able to go extra mile to complete all tasks given to me. I enjoy encountering new challenges.

I am a debriefing clerk at imperial reatil logistics.

my working hours start at 14H00 till the last truck. my relationship with my co workers is strictly about work. im not the person who's mixing business with pleasure. im a very straight forward person who like to help other co-workers. what I have learnt about my work is working with a person is not and easy thing it just need patience. and when the work is more I must just relax think straight to avoid lot of mistakes on my work. what ive enjoyed most was when ive solved someone's problem that makes me proud cause is at the end of the day save time and money for the company. the most challenging aspect of the job is debriefing is the department that monitors all the movement of the company. so by working in debriefing you must be stress free. cause all the problems of the company is been solved by debriefing.

One department with its own challenges

am a hard working controller and work well with my team by doing so it become easy to control the losses and prevent stock from leaving the warehouse to maintain the losses and damages but it also very danger to work deal with theft as it some times put my staff under danger as i always tell them its pat and parcel of our job and with out my team it wont be possible to be on top of our stock control ,every morning after we have our morning meeting all of them know that what is expected of the they have to do empty bin and check all the pick face that the stock is balancing and if not the have to check all the cages /ship doc that if it was not picked extra and investigate all transaction how the stock is short from the bin on my side i need to need to verify all losses and gain we for the day ,what i like with this job is that you dont need a plan every day has its own challenges and you deal with all department by doing so you gain a lot of experience .

Pros: being in this department its easy to learn other department 75% chances you will be promoted to other department
Cons: you work at home and work so you must be in touch with stock

I work as cycle counter at imperial logistics under SSG Agency

I take care of the stock, emptying bins on every shift, making sure that the system is updated every day, investigate the problem and make sure that i find a solution to how it can be solved and make sure that the health and safety procedures are adhered to.
