Executive PA/Office Assistant

My current job is challenging as I work with more than 10 executives at the same time and they all have demanding schedules so it requires me to work on my toes and to think on my feet. I have to be organised, efficient, accurate and pay attention to details. I have learnt to be patient because they all have different personalities that I have to deal with however I had to come up with a strategy based on their deadlines as well as handling each one differently based on their individuality as people.

Pros: Its a small company so it doesn't happen often
Cons: Sometimes we do work long hours

Challenging opportunity

I am responsible for all HR functions and do operate at all levels i.e. operations to strategy. I am responsible for recruitment, employee relations, wellness, remuneration, training, HR Administration, organizational development etc.

Pros: It has introduced me to other other challenging spheres of HR
Cons: No cons

Excellent learning curve

For the past 8 years i have worked dependently and i learned to identify and rectify mistakes before sending to the superiors. i have also learned to delegate and enjoyed assisting and training my co-workers with other skills they do not have this made me grow and made me do better. The most challenging aspect of the job is travelling far from my place but i got used to it also having to work on inaccurate data which is a very difficult and strenuous process

Growing Company with a variety of different business units all in various business sectors

Company is growing and investing in many different sectors but very politically connected and ethics and compliance are very questionable and they do not seem to listen to expert advice and people is not very high on the agenda

Pros: Growing company with many opportunities
Cons: Very politically connected with no ethics or compliance

Its was great learning experience

I loved working at Impuma group my ex co workers was nice and very patient to work with but sadly my contract ended and the challenge I faced I wasn't experience in receptionist work they didnt have any training so I had to learn by myself

Pros: It was a good learning experience
Cons: No training
