Leading the definition and entrenchment of a TCoE for Eskom

Initially lead the performance testin of SAP then design, definition of practices, process and institutionalisation of testing center of excellence. I got on very well with all staff in all areas of Group IT at Eskom. Then the contracts ended and I took a break and am now looking for new contracts. My passion is to enable the delivery of quality software.The biggest lesson I have learned and not only on this contract is that changing behabiours ois the biggest challenge.

Pros: I have a motto that 'there is always a better way" and finding this and landing this is my gratification even though I encourage continual improvement
Cons: Often takes longer than expected due to dealing with behaviour change

I am a independent contractor who is working for myself at various companies.

I am a independent contractor who is working for myself I can supply training on all different types of lifting machinery. And operating of earthmoving equipment and transport. I am a qualified fitter and turner and can also supply training in the engineering field. I have all the original qualifications/ certificates for your perusal. at various companies As an and assessor,facilitator also on the safety side with the safe working procedure, checklist of machinery the audit side of all the documents and licenses with the data capture take place the dates and times, the feedback on training and the meetings that was attended

Pros: There are no company as I am self employed
Cons: Working hours is 40 hours a week

Freelancing

Freelancing is difficult. You constantly work with new and different people and need to be very adaptable. It does however come with freedom, if you in a position to do so you can choose which jobs your want to take on

Building and managing a sales channel both locally and across Africa

The company is going through some difficult times and this meant salary cuts and retrenchments. I was a successful member of staff but was not considered to be retained during the lockdown. My success came from building a network of channel partners across Africa, managing daily business requirements (quotes, logistics, training etc.).
