Great working environment.

It is very good to serve and attend to people's needs, especially the patients and clients at large. It so satisfying to assist people and also to improve the service delivery to the vast community at large; implementing batho pele principles - treating people with dignity, respect and show positive attitude towards customer service needs. The public servants do the great job to attend to the sickly and needy patients and clients at large. I will always cherish the experience and knowledge obtained in this great institution. I have learned a lot of things in this teriary private, pupblic and partnership institution.

Pros: There's room for growth in this institution. I first started as and an administration clerk in 2002 June 18 and went on to Chief Admin Clerk in September 2007.
Cons: The work conditions are good that health and safety is in place; as well as good work condition. The working hours are good and fare since uts a 24 hour service institution. The staff work effective shift rostrr of 45 hours per week.

Excellent

Duties: • Cleaning, maintenance, setup, calibration, assistance and procedure of selected equipment. • Performing selected diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on patients (Thrombo-elastograms (TEG), electrocardiography and blood gas analysis). • Performing quality checks on all equipment requiring quality control (Blood gas machine, TEG, all ventilators) • Assisting with difficult intubation and bronchoscopy (Fibre optic scopes, difficult intubation accessories and general assistance) • Cleaning, setup, calibration, and assistance in connection to patients, of all ventilators (including oscillatory, SiPAP, CPAP, nitric oxide and accessories) • Other duties include, while not limited to, assisting with resuscitations, patient transports, invasive catheter insertion procedures, and cell salvage. • Experience working in Operating Theatre, Trauma Theatre, Paediatric ICU and Neonatal ICU.

Currently working in the biggest icu in inkosi albert luthuli..good at my job.just need change and to learn new things.i feel like there isnt room for me to grow my knowledge at this place..hence i need new company new challenges.
