Good experience

I've started working at Innovatus after I completed my Matric. I started of as a receptionist and then started helping the accountant. From there I learnt everything he was doing and started studying financial accounting , when he left I was promoted to finance intern. It was a very good learning curve and I learnt alot in terms of Finance. Innovatus is a very fast pace working environment because we serve students needs and when it's not met then easily lead to strike so we constantly have to be on our feet to make sure our job I done 101%. I fitted in the environment because I am a very fast learner and I take pride in what I do even when I'm under pressure. I enjoy Debtors management as I was in charge of 4 campus's and managing debtors (students) it was a very strict role because sometimes they skip payments and I have to enforce action eg don't allow them in class until payment arrives.

Cons: No financial growth

General

I wish to emphasize that I love people and that my personal relationships are excellent. I have a passion for the great outdoors,animals and children. I regard any “problem” as a challenge. I have a steadfast character and I am a very hard worker. I also wish to emphasize the fact that I am a person of immeasurable worth to a team: When the going gets tough, I get going. In support of this statement I would like to mention the following courses I completed successfully: Silver medal 96km endurance race and I completed one of the most difficult hiking trails in South Africa; the Amatola Mountains.
