Great experience on different projects, clients and environments.

All work is project based. In every event, the client needs learning solutions and will contact IQ Business to propose solutions. Once agreed upon, I will join the company on their premises to ensure that the most appropriate solution is created and delivered within time, scope and budget. Project duration can be anything from one month to several years. This allows a person to experience a variety of business environments in different industries. It is like super-charging work experience and learning how to manage stakeholders and expectations.

Pros: Expedited experience in a variety of business contexts.
Cons: Two sets of bosses to please.

Great exposure and support at all levels. Close relationship with direct reporting manager.

I spent less than 10 months at IQ Business as a contractor. In that period I was provided with the necessary tools and resources to do my job. The direct reporting manager I had was amazing. She allowed me to utilize my strengths and improve upon my weaknesses. The corporate culture is that of transparency and openness.

Pros: Allowed to be an individual in a team of different people with different skill-sets.
Cons: Contractors have no hope of becoming permanent. Contract employees are kept as contractors for too long. No clear guideline as to what is required for one to become permanent. Risk of loosing dedicated employees very high,

A company to work for

Excellent company to work for where employees are given opportunities to further education and training. There is more than enough room to grow and relationships between employer and employee are great and transparent. Open communication and great support from senior management. The emplyer goes out of his way to ensure staff is well and taken care of. There are various projects within the company and all staff members are placed and are upskilled to ensure delivery is as simultaneous as possible.

New challenge and wanting more growth

Typical work day - Recruit Recruit and Recruit More! I have fantastic relationships with my stakeholders and co-workers I have learnt alot about management consulting and difference disciplines i.e UX/UI/Development etc. I enjoy the relationships that I have with my stakeholders and co-workers. They the reason I come to work every day. Most challenging - finding the right talent
