Professional character building experience

My typical day at work includes mostly administrative and clerical work. The company runs 3 seminars a week in two branches however all the office work is done in the head office. I am the team leader who is always willing to assist others and prepared to help out in any fields outside of my remit. I bring a lot of energy, passion and i always encourage a spirit of excellence and hard work in the office. The biggest lesson i have learnt and look forward to using in my future prospects is the value of team work, dedication and always trying to better myself personally and professionally. I enjoy liaising with clients and i enjoy the feeling of knowing that i have provided them with excellent customer service and that they are well assisted and satisfied. The most challenging aspect of my job has been dealing with client commissions and the calculation thereof. However the experience has encouraged a spirit of accuracy in me and the making sure that i am always efficient and well prepared.

Excellent learning curve

My main responsibility in this position was performing administration and clerical duties for two branches (Durban and Pietermaritzburg). A typical day includes but not limited to the following: *Data Capturing and Processing *Calculation, administration and processing of payroll/commission to clients *Bookkeeping and record keeping of all clients *Maintaining an orderly accounting filing system *Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested *Handling client complaints and queries

Pros: Ability to network with clients and expand knowledge
Cons: Long working hours
