Not focused on welfare of staff at all
They do not care abou the welfare of their staff in retail at all or even closely pay them what is fair. They tend to micro manage from cape whil not having a clue what the markets outside of cape required or wanted. They force their staff to sell sub standard gear and by sub standard i mean worse than what you would get at a cash crusaders or second hand shop
Pros: Had a company car as manager
Cons: Work 6 days a week

Good learning experience
I have never in my life worked for a company that went out of their way to make it hard for you to make them money. Sometimes felt like their is a lack of the bigger picture vision from the top. Not keen at all in promoting their own people into deserved well earned positions
Pros: Manager get company car and fuel

Excellent learning curve and I acquired excellent new skills
I have grown immensely over the last 5 years 7 months as a branch manager, i learned so much about management of staff and store. But now i need a new challenge as i have reached the sealing in this company
Pros: Company car and fuel given to manager
Cons: Very long hours
