Love to learn and open to new opportunities

JFH specializes in importing and exporting beverages. It is a very "fast moving" industry . you have you have to adapt easily as there is constant change that happens in the logistical industry. You need to have good interpersonal skills as you communicate with large amount of people on a daily basis internally and externally. Team work plays an important role as everybody has to bring his part in complete the job as there are various procedures that needs to be followed. I learnt a lot at JFH as i did not have any experience in the logistical industry when i started working at the company. i learnt to create picking slips , what documents are needed in the exporting industry when exporting , learnt how to work on various systems , learnt how to communicate with clients and how important team work is. Working with different documentation and getting to know which documents are correct was 1 of the most challenging things.

To accurately arrange and to co-ordinate all aspects of export procedure. Liaise with clients and transporters to ensure loading proceed as planned. Prepare accurate documentation for clearing in order to courier on time. Admin- bookings with shipping line & accurately approved bill of lading, pre-adv containers correctly to enter port. Effective and efficient control and submissions of all customs related documents on time.

Pros: Stable company to work for, they look after their employees
Cons: Long hours, must be flexable , attention to details, organized

Great learning experience

I learned a lot . I know how to handle difficult situations when being put under a lot of pressure to get a certain amount of work done in a short period of time how to cope when you have to take responsibility for others mistakes or negligence. I made me a stronger person than what I was
