Great exposure to the business as a whole.

Being in the strategy department at JD Group I see as an opportunity to have learnt the business as a whole with all the components of finance, marketing, supply chain and operations. Co-workers all have a close working relationship and are the people we seek advice for when working on a project to ensure we are on the right track. I enjoy being in a position where I am able to give input from all aspects of business. It is a pressurized environment which you get used too on a daily basis., which also keep you as an individual on you toes.

Its a pressured environment with no benefits.

Company is good to work for but a lot of pressure with no benefits thereof. Gives you an opportunity to learn how to work under pressure but growth is very limited.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn
Cons: Management not from retail more industrial
