DIRECT TELESALES AGENT

MY JOB CONSISTS OF: COLD CALLING INTERNET REQUESTS SERVICING EXISTING CLIENT CALL 80-200 CLIENTS A DAY MEET SET TARGET REQUIREMENTS. HAVING A STUDENT MENTALITY AS WE ARE BEING TRAINED TO BE SALES MANAGERS. BASED ON MY OBSERVATION PEOPLE ENJOY ME BEING IN THE OFFICE AS I POSSES HIGH ENERGY LEVELS THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE DAY. THEY ALWAYS WANTING TO MAKE BETS WITH ME ON MEETING TARGET AS I AM VERY COMPETITIVE AND NEVER BACK DOWN FROM A CHALLENGE. I HAVE LEARNT HOW TO MANAGER PEOPLE, HOW TO DEAL WITH A DIVERSE GROUP OF PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY DIFFICULT CLIENTS WHICH I ENJOY THE MOST. I ENJOY SPEAKING TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND ADAPTING TO DIFFERENT CHARACTERS WITHIN MY TEAM. OVERALL DEALING WITH TEAM PROBLEMS, KEEPING THEM MOTIVATED, GUIDING THEM TO BECOME GREAT SALESMAN AND TEACHING THEM HOW TO MAKE MONEY.

Pros: TO BECOME A FLOOR MANAGER
Cons: I WORK 12 HOURS A DAY,FROM 6AM-6PM,SIX DAYS A WEEK WITH NO OFF DAYS GIVEN FOR EXTRA TIME PUT IN,HOWEVER I DON'T MIND CAUSE MY SALARY AT THE END OF THE MONTH SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.

Good customer experience

It was a good chance to work with different customers and get to know how to approach them and interact with them for the best customer experience . And with that I am able to get to know what customers are looking for and how best to give it to them and assist them in making the right and best choices

Excellent learning curve

It was good experience however it was killing my dreams and demotivating for my future as it was not a career I saw myself doing in the future or aloofness to the other activities and business related decisions I have previously made. However I take everything in good spirits and taught me a lot about gorilla marketing and directing marketing techniques.

Helps you build confidence but wears you out

Typical work day starts at 5.30am and ends at 8pm Relationship with Co workers are good but the do tend to neg you out at most times You learn how to run a business and sell to people Challenging aspect would be time management considering 99% of the time you're at work and you don't have time worth your family anymore

Lifestyle Of Employement And Unemployement

I know i am working but I am not satisfied with I am getting because it is based commission based.I took the opportunity just to create work experience and network with people to be able to get job opportunities.

Learn alot over short time

At my current company it is excellent and you have everything you need to complete your tasks you are provided with resources and training and you meet a variety of people and have a great atmosphere it feels more like family than anything else

Development of Marketing Skills

A typical workday at the organization involves conversating and explaining the product to the client which is marketing of financial services. The bond that exists between my colleagues and i is team driven as well as sales driven. Our output is measured as a group and we assist one another to achieve and surpass our daily as well as our weekly targets. The job in itself helps to improve my marketing as well as interpersonal skills, thus making me more aware of the market and the needs of the clients/customers. As such, the most challenging parts of the job involves updating client information into the system, as the system at times doesnt function properly due to overcrowding and network challenges.

Working in a company was an excellent learning curve

Doing a learners hip at Teledirect gave me a lot of information about companies in terms of Laws and be heavier. Working at LA Grandson was a challenge because your pay is determined buy the number of sales you do for commision and it's very difficult because you sell credit to people.

Excellent learning curve

The company offers leadership qualities and management experience but in terms of income there is not enough for everyone it is more like a pyramid scheme, the company does not offer transport for employees and transport is very essential in that business which is the reason why I left because I was spending more than I was making.The learning part is exciting but having to travel to different PNP stpre s to pitch to customers to sign up for a store account is very costy.

Cons: Long working hours without guaranteed pay
