Great working environment

I take VSI samples of the previous shift, test snuff for moisture, Check the lines for non-conformances. Test pipe tobacco at the lab for moisture. • Pipe Tobacco Sampling and Testing (Primary, Secondary and VQI) • Snuff Tobacco Sampling and Testing (Moisture and VQI) • Result Capturing and Upload • GMP audits • General quality auditing. • Product Approval as per Specification • Snuff Ph and water activity testing • Cut width determination • Pipe tobacco stem count • Sieve test • OV testing for moisture determination • Equipment calibration and verification

Pros: Pays well and treats us like valuable assets
Cons: May be stopped at any time

Retrenchment

Company retrenched 150, I was with Leonard dingle for 11 years and work all over the world. I started as electrician and ended up as maintenance supervisor for packaging departments. I enjoyed the time spent with them but have to find a new stable environment.

Pros: International company, good career
Cons: To accommodate industry is not stable

Working as quality techinician

I work 9 hours Monday to Thursday and 8 hours on Friday. Attending to more than 5 deliveries with more than 30 pallets on a daily basis has actually made me strong and can safely say I can work under a lot of pressure.

Pros: there is a lot of growth opportunities in different departments.
Cons: lot of manual work

Supervisor/Fpreman

I am working from 06:45 to 16:00 but I don't have a problem changing shift as I worked three shift system for 13 years for Danone SA,i learn a lot & this make me be recomented as I worked as a Packer,Machine Operator,Perfomance analysis,Senior Operator,Team Leader & now Production Supervisor,i also enjoying working as a team

Pros: i enjoy my work i just need a new challenges
Cons: excellent
