Perfect working curve, Exposure to different time scale.

Its perfect learning. I have been there just for couple of months and so far I enjoyed every moment of it. Completely different to what i am used to. You get relate to the guest on a relaxed manner no rush but professionally. Typical day start at 22h00 as I am currently night audit by this time only few guest are still in public places most of them have already gone to bed. I start by collecting all the cash up for both the properties and balance them off. Prepare the wake up sheet, and continue with rest of the duties as the night goes by. Me and my co-workers we are one big family I think by being in the camp and being next door neighbors is also the contributing factor. I have learnt that its not always about the procedures its about relations to the guest and always go the extra mile. I enjoy Personalized services from the begin of the stay to the end the guest feel special and not like they are just the number. The emergency services being in the bush help is not easily available.

Excellent learning curve

I enjoy working with customers / guest and I always create healthy working atmosphere with colleagues, the most challenging aspects of my job is when there is no internet because I have to confirm flights, transfers, accommodation and bills.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotions
Cons: Long working hours
