What I have learnt in my company

Working in a construction is nice because it is easy to reach with everyone. Sometimes there are some complications but it's enjoyable. What I have learnt is that in a Contraction you need to be patient because there are complications when people are not paid and if they have disagreements. A typical day is when people didn't get paid. All my co-workers are good and easy to reach.

Pros: Non
Cons: 9 hrs

Learning curve

It is a learning curve, the civil side has taught me so much and I have gained so much experience especially with working with people, the challenges I face is that the company I work for has serious financial problems/cash flow then we end up not getting paid in time. I work with a greate team that always strive to do best,

Pros: Opportunity of learning more things especially regarding civil and building
Cons: Long working hours

When the going gets tough the tough gets going a very challenging project

Liaise whith employees, sub contractors. Do day to day and 2 weekly planning on material and rescources. Get along with all employees and the client very well. Material and rescource stay a problem on this project.

Pros: Great community and learning pigmented retaining walls
Cons: Material and rescources problem make you look incompetent

Excellent value for works

The work day is great, and works work all together. What I loved about my old job was that fact that I have received training for each and every course they had at work.

Pros: Bad opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours

Currently Working Responsibilities

Up to so far I have learned more things at Lubbe Construction by being exposed to daily site works and also indoor tasks that are part of my profession. But I always see myself being somewhere, where I will be earning what I think I deserve. My salary package is very low based on my experience and academic qualifications, but I keep on working because I can't just stay without doing anything. If I do so I will go hungry. That's why I have to tolerate my current situation. At least a half of a loaf is better than nothing. It is better than begging people for money.

Pros: New employment challenges and environment.
Cons: multi tasks
