My work day starts with me looking into my tray and checking which work should be attended too first, also reporting to my HR head as to what it is that am doing and what are the challenges that am facing. Continuing with all the work that would even include handling all the quiries from employees , I also used to do cash book , and accounts due to too much work loaded someone had to be hired. My relationship with fellow employees its straight forward one , which mean i dont mix business with pleasure. i have learnt a lot of things , most things also have been doing training , and with regards to submitting . i do month end deductions on my own, PAYE to our auditors am also doing it on my own. Negotiating and handling queries from our pension fund administraters and funeral underwriters. I can say i have learnt a lot of things that am proud to be doing.

Pros: Currently am positive that there is a possibility for a promotion
Cons: working from 08:00 to 16:00

Challenging and exciting opportunity

I learnt for much in a short space of time and it was the greatest opportunity i have ever had and it made me to have more passion towards my career.They taught me measurements and taking off quantities, reducing levels using dumpy level, calculation of tender rates, preparing payment certificate, stormwater pipe laying,kerb laying,road construction including layerworks and asphalt laying and surveying using total station.

Pros: Getting a promotion
Cons: No tea time just lunchtime

Excellent communication

Being in the construction, civil and building industry, its imperative that co-workers understand the dangers associated with their jobs and that they take extra care when working. i have learned how to communicate with the co-workers, how to behave and how to respect one another at the working environment, managing my assignment before due date. Hard work pays and it never kills. i enjoy learning new things each day at workplace from my co-workers regarding career. Managing health and safety on a building site is tough, especially at the height of a scaffolding.
