My daily routine as teamleader

Type of the job I was doing. My daily routine driver As I was supervising team of 15 people, I have learn to be transparent, assertive, and straight forward. Always honest at all time, treat them equal. Making proper decisions, discipline also have a way to fix things quickly, be a quick thinker. Managing people you need to always expect the worse, and you need to be able to solve problems all the time. Know how to motivate them, and always stay firm when it comes to disciplinary action.

Pros: As team leader/ supervisor managing team of 15 people, as they sales starter packers, around western cape. My job is to find a area to sale these starter parkers, collect money they made for the day, monitoring team sales also as individuals. Bank the money the next day do admin for the team, doing car inspection every morning. Also recruiting agents.
Cons: Driving long distance looking for areas to sell the start packers. Working long hours so that we can met team target.

Great company to work for indeed

Having worked her since 2013 i have achieved a lot. I was received Floating Trophy for being Best Human Resource Business Partner in 2015. Every work done is always Team Work with effort. Working as a team in all Projects taught me that we do need each other to have a successful outcome

Pros: The greatest pleasure was when i had to go around the country of South Africa presenting a typical day as an HR. I then promoted to HR Manager and moved to National Officer on M4JAM platform
Cons: Our department worked odd hours as we travel but that was always compensated by sometime working from home once in a while

Excellent work experience

I was happy at M4jam. Because our team leader was not putting us under pressure and he was good at us. All I can is that M4jam is a good company. As a team working together was a way forward. We were a strong team. Sometimes business was not good in the field, but because we were hard workers we managed sell. What I enjoyed mostly is time we were going place and we were always happy with my colleagues.

Good learning

We were working 5 days a week, my relationship with my co-worker was good we were having good communication helping each giving each other strategy to work spend lots of time at the field.i have learnt how to work with people ,how to manage time frame,how to strategies what I like the most how to lead people a good leadership skills.I enjoy most to be at the field connecting with different people, my challenge was sales because company needed more sales per day you have to push whatever it takes.

Perspective learning

Am working 6 days a week including extra Mondays with the lack of working hours and customer liking our services andepartment products. We promote sim cards with value that gives customers more information about the Brand they have including help with , sufficient problems that unrevealed without us assisting the company with valid nd information of our brand.

Pros: Good customer support
Cons: Long days of work

Excellent

At M4jam we were selling sim cards and tell customer the important of using our simcard and benefit after using this cards and we were also selling cell phones over the phone and if the customer is excited you give her the form to fill in and in next day give her the phone

Pros: Its gives you a lot of chance to be hired if they need expirience in promotion or in sales
Cons: Uts only 8 hours

It's a medium sized business

The company is one of the best companies I have worked for. Recently they started retrenchment and from there working has never been the same. I personally would have like to end my career there but feel like my job is not secured.

Excellent learning

It was good to an extant that they consider someone with great job. Being a hardworker you get a reward, like being promoted to the above position. Working with people is always enjoyable because you learn more about different types of people. And being a leader you know how to solve any problems that come to you. Also confict that accured during work place are stressful but as a leader i always find solutions.

Pros: As we were selling, month ends were the best
Cons: On weeked we go outside cape town, so we have to travel almost 4 hrs single

Great way to start my career

I work very well with my colleagues as I am not micro managed. All I do is find prospective clients and present to them our e-learning product. I have learned that learning is vast in a way that one is able to do it at his/her own time. Time is very vital as it is a factor in productivity. Discipline is one of the key factors that will help you reach your goals. Cold calling is very challenging because I get to deal with people that I hardly know and have to adjust to their character and stay positive despite the outcome.

Pros: Great way to enhance discipline and leadership skills and facilitating skills
Cons: Salary is low
