Great personal & Accountability skills

My work entails having a great mind and taking accountability daily on the work that we do. It is a highly pressurised industry which needs focus, effectiveness & attention to detail. Which are some of the attributes I now possess as an individual & candidate as I had to polish them daily in my work place. I have strong people's skills, which is one of my strongest attribute, I easily gel with people and they in return find it very relative to approach me & open up to me. I enjoy the daily challenges of having to come up with solutions to ad hoc queries, as that keep me on my feet & the adrenaline as well, make me enjoy what I'm doing & the fulfilment of having everything done correctly, meeting cut offs promptly in a day.

Pros: Being able to think & come up with solutions for the clients
Cons: high volumes of work in a day

Great experience.

I am a detailed oriented person. Self starter. Team player. I do head to head administration. FICA validation, processing and reporting. I process daily trades like transfer, switches, repurchases ,purchases. .. Work on a highly pressured environment but I manage to get through the day. I escalate the work if I feel it's too much for me. Looking forward to extend my experience. Thanks Eric Timakwe

Pros: I got a permanent position after 6 months as an intern.
Cons: I put my extra effort when ever there is more work

Good Learning Curve

working within a team that feels like family, My main duty is to do business of the day which includes fund of fund dealing and cash administration. My typical day includes receiving a trade file in the morning, making payments for all subscriptions, ensuring correct system entries, and sending instructions to underlying managers for all pooled and segregated funds. After all that is said and done, I confirm provisional trades to confirmed status in accordance with what is confirmed on the asset manager's statement. I also do Scrip, cash and trade vs Market Reconciliations

Excellent at meeting daily deadlines and the ability to problem solve on the spot

This comprises of cash and position reconciliation, PNL reconciliation as well as pricing. Our client was NA Hedge Funds. This exposed me to a wide array of security. My role is extremely deadline driven. This has helped me develop useful skills such as working well under pressure as well as being able to problem sol client was NA Hedge Funds.
