My experience and understanding of business operations does not seem to be valued by leadership

I have business and compliance experience gained over my period of employment. I find that my expertise is not being utilised fully and the valued.Senior Leadership does not recognise this and there are others above me who take my knowledge and ideas to senior leadership. A colleague who I assisted in gaining knowledge of the firm as my equal, did not understand how the firm worked was appointed in a senior position and I was still expected to show that person the ropes which he took to leadership and presented as his own. I have established a good relationship with business leaders who value my opinion and expertise. I pride my self on maintaining high work ethic standards in the interests of the business and the firm. I feel like this is not enough for senior leadership. that concerns and has prompted me to put my self back in the job market.

Pros: Able to lear a lot about working in a global organisation.
Cons: no reward or recognition

Im a seasoned business development professional working in am empowering environment

Im all about customer satisfaction

I have a portfolio of clients with I manage, do policy admin,claims, client visitations,renewals, upsell and crossell products. The company is well organised and the culture is strict and very formal which can sometimes be a down.

Pros: I'm 2nd incharge to my leader
Cons: There are opportunities for growth

Constant learning

For the past months I have been learning system a used in other countries either than South Africa and their regulations, laws and tax systems. Constant influx of new Information.

It's an amazing jumpstart to my carrier in insurance

I love being a broker, insurance is all I know and believe I'm good at. I have done sales,claims,retentions, customer services, face to face client liaison, client visits and now I handle my own portfolio of clients including multinational accounts.I service them from start to finish with the exception of new business aspect however I do crossell and renew their policies.

Pros: Possible growth into management
Cons: Long hours however it's worth the time and effort
