I do not know a huge amount about the pharmaceutical industry, but I know FMCG and health products that reach the retail industry. How to market them, creating strategies and pricing ,placing through products to create customer awareness and ultimate strategies to launch products and ensure sales of products. I have worked on various projects in Game that successfully launched new product innovations in conjunction with key suppliers. An example is the launch of the Pampers pull on pants that P and G and Game launched together in the retail market before any other chain was on it. There are other similar launches and all was a success. If you want your brand to grow and penetrative the current market I have the skills to achieve this.

I have gained an immense amount of knowledge at Mass discounters
My journey at Mass discounters was amazing , I have been exposed to changes in systems , the training programmes , that the company offered grew me as a person and the knowledge I gained was fantastic . We have a wonderful team that we worked with , team work and team spirit was on another level. The challenges in my job brought a different aspect to my day at MDD. I dealt with challenges with country regulation, containers being confiscated and ensuring promotion stock got to stores on time. I always made the best decisions in any situation . I have learnt to deal with situations with patience and tolerance .
Pros: There is alway opportunity for growth.
Cons: The work load is hectic , when staff leave people are not replaced the work is distrubuted amongs existing employees.

Being employed in the company for 28 years has allowed me to gain a myriad of knowledge and skills.
A typical work day consists of analyzing advertisements , checking product pricing to ensure accuracy, confirming that stock is available for sale and or promotions. In addition; dealing with foreign merchandise(imports) and assisting the buyers as they require. Relationship with co-workers are professional and civil, I can work efficiently with or without co-workers. Working closely with a Buyer has allowed me to equip myself with such skills of a buyer; such as negotiation skills, leadership skills and time management. What I find most difficult about my job is issues of stock availability and breakdowns in communication with regards to adverts for the Africa division; due to our department's practice of signing off adverts 3 months prior. My job is to most extents very analytical; I very much enjoy ensuring the correctness of the advertisements and its corresponding stocks.

In my experience I've noticed and believe that in whatever you doing you must make sure that it's right and I alway follow the believes, ie. Respect for the individuals, Strive for excellent, give a best service to our customer. I believe in giving people opportunities like developing and training, I believe in motivating and giving praise when its due.
