I am a well trained receiver and Grn clerk

Each day was cool and enjoyable, my relationship with co-workers was also cool and profitably, i have learn than working in team is the most point to make things posibble in the warehouse business, i enjoy receiving stock and working with computer. The challenging aspects is when you dont ask whenever you come across with the problmes on the flour.

Pros: Is to work hard
Cons: 12 hours 06:00 to 18:00 day and night

A learning curve

.I completed health and safety courses over the years and that help me a lot when it comes to reporting, managing and minimizing of incidents in the work place . i liaise with co- workers on the daily basis and love it to interact and inform them about hazards and risks in the work place

Pros: Broaden your knowledge in this field and create an opportunity for a promotion
Cons: Long working hours and you need to be flexible and energetic to vover long distances moving around in a 70000 square meter facility

Growth

The company has helped me grow as an individual and also in my career path. I was able to study through the company and was able to finish my degree in record time. The company culture has been amazing. Respect for an individual was driven in all aspects.

Excellent learning curve

Was a great place to learn diversity and the different types of systems introduced. I loved the challenge of change as the organization was going through a lot as it was growing. Loved empowering other employees but did not like senior management being biased by bringing in whites they knew and they moved up quick while non whites worked hard to make them look good

Pros: Change management and great learning centre
Cons: Working Saturdays where there is not much work can be done

Excellent learning

I am a Receiving Clerk at Massmart Logistics.. I work at the inbound shipments of incoming stocks coming inside Massmart Warehouse in Catoridge DC and check whether the invoice and parking slip it corresponds with the quantity delivered physical and check if there are no damaged stock. Allow the PPTS to take the stock inside warehouse and start receiving using RF gun working with GRN clerk to close the PO.

Pros: Great experience

Working under pressure, self motivated, communication skills

I am learning how to save while earning less

It is a very busy day. All day machines are being operated and stock is moving around. My relationship with my co-workers is good, especially those I work with on the floor. As for managers,they always try to give us a hard time,but it is all good. I have learnt to work smart,use my head more than I use my physique. I have also learned how to contain pressure, sacrifice and work well with my team. I enjoy working with my team,it reveals the leader in me. Operating the machines for long hours is damaging to the body. We work 12 hours so I am usually tired to do other thingsat home like reading a book or learning a new skill
