Great Work environment

Great place to work with a handful of individuals, learning from them as well as interaction with clients. Most days start from 9am and go up to 6pm assisting clients with their technical and sales needs

Learn Fast. Love to work with people.

My typical day at work is like a normal day but someday it is very busy here at work and we don't know where to help and not to help, someday then it is very quiet. I am a people person so my relationship with my co-workers are very good we work nice together like a team. I have learnt so much here by my work especially everything about computers and laptops. Things i enjoy the most is my work because i'm working with people.The most challenging thing of this work ( and i think of any work) is the rude people you need to help them even if they rude to you.

Great experience

learning each and everyday, learned to provide superior customer service and learned some of the technical skill to tackle a problem. its great working at matrix but sometimes its bad. sometimes you get difficult customers but i have learned to work with difficult customers so its not a problem. my co-workers are nice and helpful people to work around.

Pros: you get good experience with clients when you are working at matrix, you get to develop your career and its a good start for someone without experience.
Cons: under paid, sometimes treatment is bad by the owners or manager.

Entry level

i worked in a shopping center traiding hours from 9-7 monday to saturday sundays from 9-5 I assisted with basic to advanced technical computer repairs in a retail store: Trouble shooting of system configuration failures. Printer software repair, printer server sharing, printer setups > Reload of operating system, password removal, setup of emails, stripping of laptops, replacing hardware, testing faulty components for supplier warranty claims. > Assisted client via call outs to repair computer components directly at their premises > Assisting with Sales of products in technology > Did quotations on entry level to high end systems directly or over email or phone > knowledgeable with CAT5e CAT6e wiring, crimping and punching

Hard work and very demanding but you learn a lot of work skills and life skills

A day could be very busy or very slow and on the busy days I would handle most of the customer related work such as quotations, feed back , complaints and queries as well as sales. Because I worked in retail I was able to learn a lot about how to handle all kinds of clients, from the very happy ones to the very unhappy clients as well as I learnt how to be very patient when explaining how something works to a client or explaining the situation at hand that they are upset about. Although it was very tough at times I am very happy to have worked there as I learnt so much from retail.

Pros: A very big learning experience.
Cons: I work long hours as well as weekends and public holidays.

Looking for better work oppurtunities Hours is to long No family time No salaty increase when promoted Boss is not as nice They dont take care of there staff overall Salaries is a lity

Great way to get into IT.

staff discounts are good but no overtime provided just extra off days. Not all staff are up to par taking every store into consideration. Every manager has their own way of doing things and there is no standard to training.
