Journey with new eyes

I love what I do, we really work not for the money but to help people be more valuable to the marketplace. We change people's lives and consist of challenges with people everyday but at the end it is all worth the effort. The only thing that don't work for me is we travel a lot. We literally sleep in guesthouses during the week and only go home Friday afternoon's and then leave on Sunday afternoons again. This is no life for a person that are very close to family and want to start a family soon thus I will not be able to do this as a career. I have learnt so many business principles that I would be able to apply everyday everywhere and I will always be grateful for that.

Pros: Learning, People skills, change, value to other's
Cons: Long working hours, working away from home, working in a dirty environment with loud noises that can be in the long run unhealthy

Excellent learning curve

The work day usually starts around 6;30 am and ends around 5:00 pm, it can sometimes be even later until 10 pm. The day starts by receiving a debrief from the night shift employees and a daily meeting to discuss objectives. During my time at this company, I learned the following: Engineering business and employee behavior in order to:  Make the client’s employees more valuable to the marketplace  Helping clients to minimize their expenses without affecting their outputs  Helping clients to control and improve their business functions  Making clients more attractive for investors The company is very good at what they do and the salary and benefits are great, unfortunately you work unspecific hours and stay in a guest house during the week (you are on call 24/5) which means that you are rarely ever home.

Great job for internal satisfaction

The job is great and a great opportunity to learn business principles execute your own plans and adjustments where needed but sleeping in a guesthouse 5 days a week for 5 years don’t help with work life balance

Cons: Never home
