I hereby apply for the above-mentioned position as advertised online. I am currently working for Micros SA as a IT Support Consultant. I have a very deep understanding of the monitoring and maintaining of Informations Technology platforms. I am willing to learn and take challenges within Information Technology Operations. I have extensive knowledge and experience of Desktops and Server operations, also excellent experience in POS Systems. Academically I am specializing in Information Technology and completed an International Diploma in 2008. I have also qualifications in other competencies like Occupational, Health and Safety, I have also joined an organization called IOSH (International Occupational Safety and Health), and this organization works with making the working environment safer. Also did 2 week CCNA training with Torque IT.

Excellent learning curve

I am working for IT company called Micros, I am IT field technician specializing in Point of sale System, I do POS support for Hotels and Restaurants eg: Sun international, Southern Sun, Protea Hotels, Yum stores, Gunret store and Nandos. I support their DB, software and hardware related issues, I am very pantual, I make sure to mean all my SLA, I reliable and hardworking. I dedicated to my work and I am a team player.

Pros: learning new products and interact with different and new clients everyday
Cons: always on the road and traveling long distance

Working at Micros was educational there is always room for growth. You get to pushed to the limit so so you can see your own ability and exceed expectations. The environment is fun and you get to be yourself so you can do your job more effectively.
