I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience on what the industry need

As Head of Technology support for Ntsika Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) I was part of SABS Innovation Committee which review various projects including Energy Renewal. I also form part of a strategic Team to Develop and oversee the implementation of the Business Excellence Model for small and medium Businesses. I oversee Just In Time (JIT) manufacturing techniques and Problem solving as well as production plant layout and processing on a national basis. Dean of faculty of Applied Science (Science, Engineering and IT) focus on Bio-medicine, Biotechnology Management and a range of IT Qualification (Informatics, Computer Science and Internet marketing and Communication), I interact with the Medical, food and Biotechnology Industries as well as the IT Industry where we also doing research on Industry specific needs and approaches to address the needs and/or problems focus on how our qualification can add value to the needs of the industry.

Value add across various Industries

I have Research and Develop various new product/qualification which add value to the industry I have vast experience and competencies to add value to the field of engineering. I have also establish various companies and process to maximize service delivery. I have establish good relationship and working agreement with staff and industry to ensure we address the educational and training needs of the idustry.

Pros: It is good to research and ensure the industry needs are addressed but it is challenging to address the needs and new programme if their are business challenge like budget cuts to ensure high quality education and training

It helped me grow my career

Working at Midrand improved my career, it helped me how to work with a team, I now have excellent communication skills, and how to handle pressure. I had a great working relationship with other employees, it was easy for me to adapt into a new environment. I learnt how to deal with tough clients, and most challenging was having to follow up on clients who kept on ignoring my calls, I most enjoyed having relationship with other sponsors.

Cons: Month end when I did not meet deadline

Good working environment because you meet and engage with different amazing people daily.thier salary allows you to reach your goals because you sign up your own cheque.there are also good bonuses and incentives.

Great platform to a start up career

When I began, I was a soon to be graduate who needed to pay off tuition fee debt and in working hard with brilliant teams and individuals I learned customer service skills, self management abilities and so much more. Mgi invested so much growth I'll forever cherish.

I used to attend training sessions at the campus

I work well with colleagues as well as my seniors I have learned lot of things from invoicing,passing credit note and creating new student how to communicate with others

Pros: No room for growth
Cons: There no cons of not working for this company anyone can wishow to work for it
