It was an amazing experience and a lot has benefits learnt with admin work

Milpark Education felt like a second home. I had an amazing supervisor who played a role of a mother. We would not only have a work relationship but a personal one too. I happened to be the youngest of them all, so I looked up to all of them as much inspiration to push and make it thus far and that good work is noticeable. I enjoyed the fact that we would reach out sales target and give best experience to students. I will not be able to speculate as to what I enjoyed least, some days are better than the other. Overally, I gained good experience, to work on sales force, ignite, pendings reports, reworks, allocations, etc

Good communication skills

A typical work day at milpark includes admin, e.g. Creating word docs, Setting up company AOD , creating hr manuals and being part of the talent acquisition process. I am a team player , always willing to help my colleagues in anyway that can make it easier for them. Always willing to learn new things.

Cons: No future in the company

Learning curve

Coordination and delivery of educational programmes. Advising students on qualification on offer. Admission and refistering students. Arranging and organising induction or orientation days for students. Training internal staff on qualifications on offer and how to offer customer service. Liaising with internal staff to solve students queries. Customer service. Managing the at-risk process in order to inform. Lecturers of modules that stidents are performing poorly on and in need of extra support.

My day in a nutshell

milpark is a higher education and training company, every day present new challenges because in terms of customer service because we facilitate the dispatching study materials, we help student with certificates and dispatching tracking and collection of documents across the country and event aboard. i have lean how to think on my feet and find innovative ways of solving problems. i enjoy in making a difference our students line by assisting them to complete their studies with minimum hassels, the most challenging part of my work is to ensure that my staff meets its deadline according to critical dates.

Pros: working with a great team
Cons: some of aspects are repetitive

No induction or firmal training e when one is new, no communication when things change

It has its good and bad, what I like about my job is our relationship as colleagues, I love that as some point when I do relate with the students its fulfilling because they have dreams and are ambitious and hopeful and helping them is a wonderful feeling. I learned to be in control of what I do, independence of my space and work. Challenges are working with managers who pretend they know everything but they don't, and their not knowing hinders their judgement.

Cons: Routine admin, not using my mind much
