Quality control nearly non existent when I started

My day was spend doing a lot of computer work and paperwork which sometimes became monotonous and boring. I had a good relationship with co-workers until I left the company then realized non of them actually even cared or bothered to call or ask if I was ok. I got to learn a lot from working with the pattern shop, heat treatment, foundry, fettling, machine shop, maintenance and final inspection departments. I really enjoyed going out the customers doing customer complaints and checking why things failed or cracked and doing the root cause analysis, pmod's and corrective actions. The most challenging aspect of my job was trying to get my boss to stop taking my work and doing my job.

Pros: If you are on their good side you can get promoted quickly
Cons: Promotions bonuses and quality training only for higher management.

Good

I am an energetic, committed and ambitious person who has the relevant enthusiasm and skills that will help me achieve my aims and objection in turn, achieving the goal of the team/ organisation. Furthermore, I am capable of making a significant contribution to the efficiency of the organisation

Been an experience of growth

I have been at Mitak nearly 10 years and have had experience in many of the departments. The people I work with are awesome. Just no room for growth and no challenge in my day to day work.

Have been doing maitanance such as breakdowns and inspections and we have working as a team.

I am a hard working person. And there was alot to learn in da company. We were getting payed during d week.and we enjoyed working together as a team.. we kept making sure that the production run and costume get their order in time.

Poor development of employees.

Major world class company with advanced technology however has poor level of employee care and development.limited growing opportunities. Limited interdepartment communication and goals.Few individuals are willing to assist others.

Great exposure and more in line with my studies

MITAK is great company to work for. It's the leading provider of wear resistant parts and include customers both locally and oversees. My team dynamics is quite diverse and we work extremely well together as we share in each other's success and work together on over coming challenges. Working with people is my passion, and go over and above to help them. Our department services 570 employees and the most challenging part is spreading myself too thinly and often overlapping in other areas.
